600 Series accepts 44- and 48-inch Combo Decks, to mulch,
discharge or bag with the same deck, along with the
choice of vacuum collection systems, and 48-inch year-round
attachments. Add Max-Trax¨ when needed for increased

The
Quik-D-Tatch Combo Deck™ lets you change the way
you mow without changing decks. Available in 44-, 48-,
52-, 61-, and 72-inch cutting widths, the same deck
converts easily from side discharge to optional mulching
or vacuum collection, making it ideal for applications
where your needs change from day to day. Use it for
Down Discharge Mulching, to cut and re-cut clippings
and direct them deep into the grass bed. Or, if you
prefer side discharge, replace the discharge restriction
plate and remove the left and right shrouds (two bolts
each under the deck), and bolt on the discharge deflector
to disperse clippings evenly. Or add the Quik-D-Tatch
vacuum collection system with your choice of collectors
for a clean sweep of clippings and other debris. Any
way you go, you leave a manicured look.

Grass collection systems
deliver a clean sweep and give a clog-free performance
even in adverse conditions. The deck-driven vac moves
a high volume of air which carries wet grass, high-moisture
leaves, pine straw and detaching debris through the
collector tube. The force of the cutting blades discharges
clippings and debris directly into the trash-ingesting
impeller which withstands abuse from hidden debris while
accelerating material to the collector with no bridging
or obstruction. Collection systems are rear-mounted
to retain maneuverability. This design offers maximum
visibility and a cleaner environment for engine and
operator. For conversion to non-collection operation,
simply release belt tension, pull one pin, detach the
vac unit and install the discharge shield with the same
pin.
